Now it’s time to grease the cupcake pan.

I use butter or olive oil, either will work fine.

Or you can use cupcake liners.

Drop the batter into the cupcake pan, filling each cupcake hole almost to the top.

Place this in a 350 degrees oven for 40 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.

** While those are baking, it’s time to make the frosting.**

Frosting Ingredients for our Dog treat recipe with pumpkin

A can of low sodium carrots rinsed and drained well

1 tablespoon of a thick greek yogurt

1 Teaspoon of honey

Blueberries for topping (optional)

** Puree all ingredients together in your food processor. Store in fridge until pupcakes have baked and cooled.**

Once the pupcakes have cooled, it’s time to add the frosting.

I like to use a baggie, and snip off the corner to apply the frosting.

If you don’t have a baggie, just use a knife.

Feel free to top each pupcake with a blueberry.
