This puppy list of toys should be a great foundation to help occupy your new furbaby.
It can be a real challenge to find a toy that keeps your dog happy and engaged.
Every dog is different, so no one toy will appeal to every dog or puppy.
Maybe you’ll find one that’s a good fit for your pooch.
#1 on our Puppy List is the Classic Kong
The classic kong has been one of our favorite dog toys for years. It never fails to keep our dogs entertained.
We love filling Kongs for our dogs and freezing them. This is a great way to help your dogs cool off in the summer, and as a bonus it takes longer for your dog to empty the Kong.
That means your pup will stay occupied even longer.
#2 Chuck-It Ball launcher
This is a great option for high energy dogs that love to fetch.
We prefer the rubber balls over the tennis style balls. They last longer and are easier to clean.
You never know what your dog may decide to drop them in.
If your dog loves fetch, this should be on your list. It’s a favorite dog toy at our house.
#3 The Nosey Nose nosework system
This is an amazing option for dogs that enjoy using their nose. It offers mental stimulation, and allows you to join in the fun with your dog.
I love activities like this for when the weather is bad and we can’t take our dogs outside, and it adds some variety to your dogs enrichment.
#4 Jolly Pets Romp-N-Roll Rope and ball toy
This toys is a nice option for dogs that love balls. You can even play tug with this great toy since it has a braided rope attached. In our opinion, this toy is durable, and fairly easy to keep clean.
#5 on our Puppy List Ruff Dawg Dawgnut XL
This rubber toy is great for dogs that love to chew. This is a durable chew toy, and as an added bonus it’s made in the USA.
#6 Kong Wobbler
This toy is great for older puppies and dogs. They have to work for their meal by manipulating the wobbler until the food falls out.
I love the idea of giving my dog a job,
staying busy working for their food is a great way to accomplish this!
#7 Lavender scented stuffed Elephant Dog toy
This soft plush toy may be a good option for puppies or dogs that suffer from anxiety.
It is scented with soothing lavender to calm your pup. This worked wonders with our last puppy.
Just be careful, it is easier to chew up than some of the other toys listed.
Lavender scented stuffed elephant dog toy.
This toy also works great for crate training.

#8 on our Puppy List is the Lickimat Buddy
This is a great toy for dogs that love to lick. A definite boredom buster of a dog toy.
You can put food on the Lickimat, to provide a needed distraction for your dog.
If your dog gets anxious during nail trimming or bath time, this lickimat may be really helpful.
